On September 13, 2012 in Baku, took place a meeting of members of the administrative board of CJSC “Azerbaijan Railways” with a delegation of the Swiss company Stadler Rail.
Official sources report that during the meeting a video was presented, showing the manufacturing process of the company’s plants. Chairman of JSC “Azerbaijan Railways” Arif Askerov spoke about the work carried out in the framework of the “State Program on development of railway transport system in Azerbaijan in 2010-2014.”
“Within the implementation of the state program it is planned purchase new modern cars. In this regard, the activities of the company Stadler Rail is interesting for us, “- said A. Askerov.
The vice-president of Stadler Rail Peter Zhenelten described the activities of the company he represents and he expressed his willingness to cooperate in the procurement of new cars to Azerbaijan.
Note that by the end of the meeting the sides agreed to continue cooperation. Recall that Stadler Rail is the producer of passenger and special cars, trams and shunting locomotives.
