The Central Election Commission of Georgia has opened additional five polling stations outside the country. According to the CEC, stations have been opened in the cities of Ottawa (Canada), Dublin (Ireland), Barcelona (Spain), Budapest (Hungary) and Lisbon (Portugal), Georgian media reports.
These stations were opened on September 11 on the basis of data from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the election administration noted. According to the Foreign Ministry, the number of voters eligible to vote amounted to 42 613 people. 42 polling stations were opened on September 1.
