Azerbaijani media reports that NATO Secretary General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, on Friday, September 7, had a speech concerning the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, at the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy, in Baku.
Rassmusen said:
“The resolution of the Karabakh conflict requires a dialogue between the conflict parties, readiness for compromises and cooperation” and added : “NATO is not directly involved in the resolution of the Karabakh conflict, however, we support and will further continue supporting the Minsk process and efforts aimed at achieving the peaceful settlement of this conflict”.
Note, NATO Secretary General visited Baku as part of his South Caucasus nations’ tour.
