On September 5-7 the annual meeting of the leaders of the Georgian diplomatic missions abroad- ambassadorial- will be held in Tbilisi. During the event, the ambassadors will meet the President, Prime Minister and members of the Georgian government.
In course of the ambassadorial parties will address the priorities and objectives of Georgia’s foreign policy, including targets to achieve the country’s territorial integrity and its sovereignty, the process of integration into the European and Euro-Atlantic institutions, bilateral and multilateral inter-state relations and issues of economic, cultural and humanitarian diplomacy.
By status of guests the foreign ministers of Sweden, Poland, Argentina and Venezuela will attend the ambassadorial. Note that a special guest of the ambassadorial will be NATO General Secretary Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
Parallel to the event, bilateral meetings will as well take place.
