The RA Police developed and submitted the “new bill of the law” for the approval of the government. This new bill will make it somewhat easier for the citizens to obtain weapon.
“Haykakan Jamanak” writes that according to the present law the citizen can get a weapon only after 5 years of training period. According to the new law, 21 year old citizen can obtain and is authorized to carry weapons. According to the law, the president, the prime minister, chief of police, the defense minister and the director of the NSA have the right to award with weapons.
In the last three cases, law clearly defines that the employee may be eligible for being awarded with weapon. The new law defines that only officials have the right to award with a weapon. It means that the Police, NAS director, the defense Minister may ward with weapon those people who they want to.
