“Is the announcement of the young deputy Minister of Finance, Vartan Aramyan, concerning his cousin’s salary getting from 180.000 to 280.000 ADM, an enough fact for our people to think that our country is havingeconomic growth? To consider that incomes of the people have also grown, and the life has improved? The former deputy, who was talking about so called “Economic growth” in our country, has probably forgotten that we are also living in the same country and we see with our own eyes, what is going on, moreover, we also have cousins, but still they don’t get such amount of money.” Writes “Hraparak” and adds:
“May be the absolute amount of salaries have been observed, but it doesn’t mean that we have economic growth, taking into account the fact, that the prices of products are going up, and the salaries, at least, are the same, and as a result everybody’s incomes are going down. I don’t know where Mt. Aramyan’s cousin is working but one thing I know for sure, that in all the places that we, usual people, are working, we don’t have increasing income , since the prices of products, people’s migration , the development of Monopolies and many other issues have made us lose a significant portion of our incomes. Therefore as we see, Vartan Aramyan’s cousin is a unique exception, and all we need to say is that the government always tries to Prove the Improvable, meanwhile all of us know, that there is no so called “Economic growth” in Armenia”.
