“1in am news and analyses” reports that the former governor of Lori region, Henrik Kochinyan, has started to seriously support the candidate for local Government election in Vanadzor, Samvel Darbinyan.
Note, on September 9 elections will be held inVvanadzor, and 5 candidates are nominated for that position, but the serious competition will be between Edik Karakhanyan, member of PA party and former vice-governor of Lori region and incumbent mayor Samvel Darbnyan, who is a member of Republican’s Party.
According to the sources, people close to Henrik Kochinyan will be personally engaged in Samvel Darbinyan’s pre-election campaign. This group of people is the same one, which was supporting Robert Kocharyan, for presidential elections held in 2003. It is not secret that Henrik Kochinyan and Robert Kocharyan are close friends.
