“Discussions on the settlement of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and, in particular, on the agreement “On the establishment of peace and interstate relations” continue. As we have mentioned many times, the Armenian side will be ready to sign the agreement at the moment when the key issues are addressed,” RA Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ani Badalyan said in a conversation with Radar Armenia, referring to the statement of Azerbaijan’s ambassador to France, Leyla Abdulayeva.
“We believe that the discussions on them will continue during the meeting scheduled in Chisinau on June 1 within the framework of the European Political Community and after that. The signing of the said agreement is not included in the agenda of the Chisinau meeting,” he stressed.
Remember that Azerbaijani Ambassador to France Leila Abdulaeva expressed hope that Baku and Yerevan will sign a peace agreement during the European Political Community summit in Chisinau on June 1.
