Vendant Patel, the deputy speaker of the US State Department, referred to the Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations held in Brussels.
Patel, in particular, stated: “I don’t have any additional assessment regarding the Brussels negotiations. The USA was not a participant in these negotiations. But as a follow-up to the talks we hosted in Arlington, we believe they are important, forward-looking steps as we continue to see that lasting peace between the two countries is possible,” Patel added.
