Arman Soldin, the operator of the French “AFP” news agency, was killed in the east of Ukraine while doing his job. The agency announced this on Twitter, noting that the employee’s death shocked them. According to colleagues who witnessed the tragedy, he died near Chasov Yar, near Bakhmut, from a rocket attack.
Official Kyiv expressed “heartfelt condolences” concerning the death of the “AFP” reporter near Bakhmut.
