The Municipality of Yerevan answered the survey about the “We are the owner of this city” initiative’s questions about 38 large and small illegal buildings.
Here are the responses and the additional explanations required by the initiative, as the municipality did not provide any legal or planning justifications.
We also want to mention that those responses given by the Yerevan municipality and the chief architect are mainly insufficient.
It is not surprising that the chief architect of Yerevan, Narek Sargsyan recently mentioned about the small deviations made during the Soviet totalitarian period of 1950’s, that was to speak in defense of the deficiency of buildings of recent years.
