Iranian media, citing the announcement of Iran’s East Azarbaijan Province’s governor general Ahmad Alirezabeigi, reports that Iran and Armenia have set the target of $3 billion in their annual bilateral trade.
As reported, currently 500 Iranian companies are doing business in Armenia.
Note, on December 2, Armenian Ambassador in Tehran Gregor Araklyan described Tehran-Yerevan ties as positive and said Iran is currently the 7th biggest trade partner of Armenia.
He also said his country was apt for foreign investments in such areas as water, electricity, gas and mines, adding that Armenia would welcome Iranian experts and investors.
