Member of “Heritage” political party, Styopa Safaryan, gave an interview to Aravot and the main topic of discussion was the upcoming presidential elections.
According to him, Armenian second president Robert Kocharyan won’t be nominated in the elections since he knows that he will lose it.
“Knowing the character of Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Robert Kocharyan, I can assure that they won’t participate in the elections, since they won’t let their names go down. I see thecompetition only between Serzh Sargsyan and Raffi Hovhannisyan.
Moreover, I think the second level of the elections will happen, since Sargsyan has been weaken and he won’t get more than 30 % of the votes. ”
