The RA Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) made a mapping of Armenia’s investment field, which will be published in coming months. As reported Araik Vardanyan, executive director of the CCI, large, medium and small investment projects were collected from different fields, which are being sent to the European partners. The projects that interested the partners will be discussed in the upcoming spring during the Investment Conference, which is organized in the framework of the “Eastern investments” three-year program. It is funded by the European Commission within the framework of the Eastern Partnership Initiative and managed by Eurochambers.
Note that the goal of the program is the expansion of investment and trade relations between business support organizations of 6 countries of the Eastern Partnership (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) and the EU member states’ respective organizations.
Mr. Vardanyan said that this investment conference has nothing to do with the EU donors’ conference, and will not take place independently. 30-50 European companies are expected to participate. Meetings will be organized during the conference for Armenian and European entrepreneurs.
