Musa Mikyelyan in his political analysis calls the current political state as “virtual” because it comprises the whole unalterable political elite that has been formed and imposed over the people throughout the previous twenty and more years. As a result, a group of people have ceased the power and exploit public patience. The economy belongs to a couple of families who use the people who have not even given their approval of them being their rulers, the emigration is constantly growing, the percentage of the young families having no babies grows because the socio-economic conditions do not let them to.
Mikayelyan states in this condition there should be a real nationwide movement against the ruling system, a real political struggle, processes which would let the people get mobilized for the sake of a common goal.
All the country has today is a cheer for 60 people on having 40 signatures out of them, the first oligarch in the country being entitled the only hope for democracy.
Mikayelyan concludes, never before have the political processes been this empty as they are now.
