Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan in an interview with journalists spoke about the upcoming presidential elections, the internal political atmosphere in Armenia and made some predictions.
According to Tigran Sargsyan, the situation in the country is normal, because during 5 years Serzh Sargsyan managed to change the political climate in Armenia and to move it to the way of normal political competition, different vision for the future, the ideology of dialogue and peaceful coexistence with different parties.
“Aggressive conflict between different political factions, which was in 2008, and the abyss that existed in our society, are overcome thanks to the efforts of the President. Today we go to the election in politically favorable atmosphere.” said Tigran Sargsyan.
He noted that during these years many important events were held for the civil society, and the reasons that caused people to be unhappy are eliminated due to the president’s policies.
“I see a bright future. I’m sure that the presidential elections will be pass in a good atmosphere,” he concluded.
