The press service of “Heritage” party reported to “First Armenian News and Analysis” that yesterday evening the head of the party administration Styopa Safaryan and NA head of the fraction Zaruhi Postanjyan had a meeting with Mr Štefan Füle, Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy.
Greeting Armenia-EU negotiations on association, deep and multilateral free trade agreement, the representatives of “Heritage” concentrated on the need of establishment democracy in both political and economic spheres and also the necessity to eliminate monopolies and corruption in the country. They appreciated the insurance of equal conditions for the candidates in coming presidenatial elections and the reformation of the electoral process.
Chief secretary of “Heritage” touched upon the EURONEST summit held in Baku in 2012, where the tolerance towards Azerbaijani president made possible the further development, namely Safarov’s extradition to Azerbaijan.
Safaryan urged the EU commissioner to put limits on Azerbaijan in the framework of EU-Azerbaijan association as a punishment.
He stressed that after Safarov’s glorification, Artsakh people cannot live under Azerbaijani reign even for a day.
ARF, PAP representatives were also present at the meeting with EU commissioner.
