We should recall that earlier, Alexander Dugin, Professor of Sociology Faculty of Moscow State University, had an interview with Turkish daily Hurriyet, concerning the Eurasian Union.
According to him, the union is very important and will cover all the negative factors which faced former USSR countries. In his statement he also noted that Turkey may join the Eurasian union.
In order to understand whether Turkey will join EurAsEc, or not, our journalist asked Bagrat Asatryan, economist, former CBA President (1994-1998) to express his attitude towards the statement.
“All I want to say is that I’m for the projects and organizations that will give Armenia a chance to join EU. What about the question whether Turkey will join EurAzEc, I can say that it is just from the series of assumptions, and I don’t won’t to talk about it”.
