At the PACE autumn session, which will take place on October 1-5, Armenian delegation will raise the issue of extradition of Ramil Safarov and the issue of justification by the Azeri authorities. NA ARF faction member Armen Rustamyan already presented this disgraceful transaction issue for discussion.
Member of the Armenian delegation to the PACE, PAP MP Naira Zohrabyan told “First Armenian News and Analyses” that they had already sent letters to the President of the European Parliament, the President of the PACE, the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly co-chair. In her speech Zohrabyan will say that Hungary and Azerbaijan, who have sold European values, have no right to be a member of the European family.
“When we go to Baku, and Aliyev presents a fascist speech in the presence of members of the European Parliament and none of them respond to him, it’s important message for him, which shows that he can take this step too, without caring about the international community. This is a result of the fact that the international community has become a captive of the caviar and oil. I lower my dignity considering a country like Azerbaijan. We have much more serious things to talk about,” said Zohrabyan.
She has serious expectations by raising this question at PACE. “We have many gaps to fill in. If our Foreign Ministry has not been so disengaged, this situation would not happen. When after the awful incident Azerbaijan made every effort to open Embassy in Hungary and kept daily focus on this issue, we did not take steps against these problems. Though, it is not late.”concluded Naira Zohrabyan.
