The guest of Radar Armenia‘s “Radar Conversation” program is Arsen Torosyan, deputy of the “Civil Contract” faction of the National Assembly.
He referred to the border demarcation process, the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, EU membership, the Pashinyan-Blinken-Layen meeting planned for April, and criticisms of the opposition.
According to Torosyan, recognizing our borders is in Armenia’s interest, “There is no delimited and demarcated border. Everything is controversial. There are not four villages; there is some border area. The noise is artificial. Azerbaijan wants to create turbulence within us with such artificial noises. If the border demarcation process does not start, peace will not happen either.”
Speaking about the opposition’s criticism in this regard, the deputy notes that the biggest problem for the opponents is that they do not decide what to blame the government for. “Let them decide one thing. The biggest problem of our opponents is that, and it is also thanks to this that we are in power; no matter how strange it may seem, they do not decide what to blame us for. Now they say that Lori is becoming a border zone; you gave Tavush and escaped. The opposition knows these territories have nothing to do with Armenia’s sovereignty.”
