The Press service of the Armenian government informs “1in.am News and Analysis” that on the 10th of August the Prime-Minister Tigran Sargsyan met the participants of international scout team in Byurakan on the occasion of 100th anniversary of Armenian scout foundation. He got acquainted with the scout’s everyday life, activity and upcoming projects.
“The essence of our meeting is the 100th anniversary of Armenian scout movement, a movement that has considerable influence on youth upbringing. The main characteristic feature of Armenian scout movement is love and protection of motherland. The scout movement brings up young people with the sense of responsibility towards their own self, motherland and towards friends.” – said Tigran Sargsyan and congratulated on the 100th anniversary of Armenian scout movement.
More than 200 scouts from 14 countries take part in the scout army in Byurakan which was founded on the initiative of Armenian scout movement.
