Initiatives are to solve problems in the political field but with non-party principles. This was said by a member of several ecological projects, activist Ruzanna Grigoryan in the interview with “1in.am News and Analysis” referring to the question whether politics helps in the realization of the projects or not.
She noted that she is against making the projects political, that is, there may be members of different parties in the project, people having different political preferences, but the projects should concentrate on the concrete problem not having political views on the agenda.
“We create such working conditions for the projects that no party interest finds their way, instead we protect the interests of concrete civil problems. But the struggle is political in itself. Fighting for an issue, you actually bring them to the political field and get political solutions, because the experience shows that when there is a big pressure, the problems are brought to political agenda.”- commented Ruzanna Grigoryan continuing that they are not afraid of raising questions in political field and of political solutions, they believe in volunteer struggle, not in the party one.
