Today in the National Assembly was held the NA Ethics Committee meeting, where they was discussed the issue to apply to the president of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan, in connection with the application of the ARF head Armen Rustamyan. This was stated in the conversation with “First News and Analyses” by the ARF member Artsvik Minasyan.
Recall that A. Rustamyan applied to the Ethics Committee to discuss the issue of the opposition failing the special session called by the ruling factions. Today, the Commission has decided to apply to H. Abrahamian in order to find out why 83 MPs did not attend the NA session.
A few days ago when discussing the same issue ANC MP Nikol Pashinyan and RPA member Davit Harutyunyan quarreled. Reporters asked whether there was such incident this time, but member of the commission Artsvik Minasian did not want to speak about the internal discussions, just added, “I can only say that Mr. Harutyunyan, of course, tried to argue again, but this objection was not accepted by the majority of the committee.”
