“Russia does not have partners in Armenia, but only the tools. And in that sense a very difficult situation is created for Armenia. One cannot have a status of an instrument with a superpower. If someone says here that he is RF partner, he just misleads the public. And this is a very dangerous situation for Armenia. We should definitely try to be a partner.” said former member of “Karabakh” committee Ashot Manucharyan, referring to G. Tsarukyan’s statement not to run and the fact of him being pro-Russian.
Ashot Manucharyan said that the major phenomenon in Armenia’s political arena in recent years was the creation of illusions and their failure. “Any system holding oligarchic philosophy, such are almost all the RA political forces, are illusive in the sense that the victory of any of them will not bring any change to the country. Now another world is called for life, the world of the rational man. And today those forces are allowed to live, which offer man for man system.” added Mr. Manucharyan.
