On December 11 Armenian delegation headed by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited the Centre of IBM, located in Silicon Valley.
On December 12, the agreement was reached with the above mentioned company on creation of a working group, which will study opportunities, the potential and prospects of bilateral cooperation. IBM representatives will visit Armenia and learn about companies, working in IT sector, and the activities of institutions engaged in basic research. Before the end of the first quarter of 2013 the working group will present the results of the study, based on which the Armenian government and IBM will sign an agreement on the implementation of future joint programs.
