Today the EPP delegation is in the National Assembly. EPP Vice President Jacek Saryuz Volsky made a speech, after which the young Parliamentarians and deputies asked him a series of questions.
According to Mr. Volsky, “European integration can be viewed not only on the surface, it is not the state surface approaching, but the reconciliation of people and societies. That’s why we need a contexture of civil society and public figures, able to work with other countries. We will be able to create horizontal relationships with each other and help the public better understand each other, because the integration is taking place through civil society. Members of Parliament are always in contact with civil society, and so we always consolidate democracy.”
Referring to NKr’s integration he said, “I would not recommend it to be done. It would be good, but it is impossible. If NKR will be integrated to the “Euronest”, the “Euronest” would collapse, as Azerbaijan will get out of it.”
