Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met the General Secretary of the World Scout Movement, Luc Panisoy, who visited Yerevan to attend the 100th anniversary celebrations of the establishment of Scout Committee.
Taron Margaryan stressed that for many years the municipality of Yerevan in various activities supported that organization and is now ready to continue cooperation within the framework of new programs.
The department of Public and Social Relations of Yerevan municipality informed “1in.am News and Analyses” that the General Secretary of the World Scout Movement Luc Panison, in turn, thanked the mayor for the warm welcome and also conveyed the greetings of more than 39 million Scouts of the word for the celebrations of the 100th anniversary Scout movement, noting that young people can have great importance and significance for the development of any community.
Mayor once again reiterated that the municipality is always open for the implementation of new ideas of young people.
