President Serzh Sargsyan arrived in the Republic of Lebanon today.
After the official welcoming ceremony of the President of Armenia in Lebanese Presidential Palace, Serzh Sargsyan and Michel Suleiman, and later together with the delegations of the two countries, had extended negotiations.
At the end of the negotiations took place the signing ceremony of documents. In particular, they signed agreements about “visiting each other’s territories witout visa in diplomatic and official passports” and “mutual recognition of higher education certificates and academic degrees”.
After the signing ceremony, Serzh Sargsyan planted a tree in the Presidential park, as a sign of friendship between Armenia and Lebanon.
In the residence of the Lebanese President Serzh Sargsyan and Michel Suleyman summarized the results of the negotiations in a joint press conference.
