On November 23-24 the delegation of EU-Armenia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee conducted a working visit to the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh, the aim of which was to have meetings with the NKR authorities and civil society before the regular meeting of the Commission held in Brussels on November 28-29.
At the meetings with the NKR President, the president of the National Assembly, Foreign Minister and NGOs they discussed the questions and problems included in the agenda of the meetings in Brussels.
The EU delegation of Armenia included Samvel Farmanyan (head of the delegation, RPA), Nikol Pashinyan (ANC), Tigran Urikhanyan (PAP), Karen Botoyan (OEP). The participants of the meeting, highlighting the necessity of frequent meetings between the two parliaments in various formats, expressed a number of viewpoints, considerations and practical recommendations.
