Today the expert on political technologies Aremn Badalyan stated it would be an absurd if the Republicans in the U.S. did not come up with a president candidate for the presidential elections 2 months before the elections when comparing the 2 months before the elections in the US and Armenia. He reminded that the elections took place on the 6th of November but the Democrats announced their candidate Obama already in September. Badalyan stated the reverse picture would be impossible in the US because the latter is a democratic country and since it is not the same in Armenia, the public is neutral towards the political developments there becomes no need to announce the candidate early.
Tsarukyan previously had announced that he already decided upon the issue of his candidacy but would take the chance the electoral code book grants not to announce it early.
