President of “socio-meter” sociological Center Aharon Adibekyan on November 23 had a press conference and talked about the upcoming presidential elections and the chances of the candidates.
According to Adibekyan, currently the main part of the votes for the authorities will go to Republicans, some to “Rule of law” party and the other to PAP.
“If PAP decides to be nominated as an opposition, then the outcome of the elections will depend from other 3rd and 4th political powers who will be nominated. In any way Tsarukyan may have about 30 % of the votes. If only Tsarukyan and Sargsyan stay in the elections, Sargsyan will have more chances to win since Republicans have a lot of institutions all over Armenia and they work very actively.” Said Adibekyan, stressing that currently PAP has about 45 % of the votes.
Talking about PAP’s decision concerning the elections, Adibekyan said that if they still don’t sure that they can win , they had better chose another variants, and this is what they are doing, still discussing their future actions.
