Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili has confirmed that he intends to withdraw from politics after the elections to local bodies of power in 2014.
“I am sure that by that time I will have fulfilled my promises and leave a strong and efficient power in the country, both in the government and in the legislative branch” said Ivanishvili.
However, he also said the following:
“If we cannot fulfill our promises, if the situation is tense and ambiguous I’m not going anywhere and will be ready to take part in the elections”.
