Trend reports that Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili visited the Black Sea resort of Anaklia (presented the status of a city in August 2011 by Mikheil Saakashvili ), where he opened a water park.
According to Georgian President, a new entertainment complex is one of the best in Eastern Europe. It was designed by Canadian architects and built by German engineers.
Economy and Sustainable Development Minister of Georgia Vera Kobalia and Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Ramaz Nikolaishvili attended the opening ceremony of the water park.
Saakashvili stressed that the tourism infrastructure makes it possible to improve life of local residents and he does not accept the claims of opposition, which claims that the entire tourist infrastructure only serves to foreigners.
“This is the most advanced water park in Eastern Europe and it will help us to provide people with jobs and increase their profits by attracting tourists,” he added.
