Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan met with Austrian Ambassador in Armenia Alois Kraut (residence in Vienna).
The press service of the municipality informed that welcoming and congratulating on the high and responsible position of the ambassador, the mayor wished him success in his diplomatic mission. Pointing out the high level of Armenian-Austrian relations Taron Margaryan presented the prospects of development of the capital and a wide perspective of the expansion of relations between Yerevan and Austrian cities.
“Yerevan municipality has submitted a draft agreement on cooperation between Yerevan and the cities of Vienna to the mayor of Vienna. We believe that with your support relations between Yerevan and Austrian cities will undertake further strengthening and the urban economy will be mutually beneficial in various fields, in particular, sharing of experience and other projects. “said Taron Margaryan and assured that Yerevan is always ready to assist the authorities in the framework of joint programs.
Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome and sharing his impressions of Yerevan, Alois Kraut voiced his willingness to assist and support the strengthening and deepening of bilateral ties.
