Azerbaijani media reports that an official presentation ceremony held in Mexico city in connection with launching of 3 church bells donated by the government of Azerbaijan to Concepción De María Santísima church.
According to information, the event was attended by Azerbaijani ambassador to Mexico Ilgar Mukhtarov and other officials of the embassy, Cardinal Archbishop of Mexico City Norberto Rivera Carrera and the church community, friends of the embassy, members of Azerbaijani community living in Mexico, representatives of local and foreign mass media.
Ambassador I.Mukhtarov welcomed officials of the Mexican church and participants. He spoke about Azerbaijani traditions of tolerance developed over the centuries: ‘In Azerbaijan, both the government and the citizens respect all the religions”.
