Today Georgian Central Election Commission spokesperson Eka Azarashvili said at a special press briefing that voter turnout in the parliamentary elections in Georgia was 45.5 per cent as of 15:00.
It was noted that voters actively participated in Ambrolauri, Racha-Lechkhumi district. In Tsalka (Kvemo Kartli) was recorded the lowest activity, and in Mtatsminda and Didube in Tbilisi- the highest activity.
Recall that parliamentary elections are being held in Georgia, in which 14 parties and two political blocs are taking part. The elections will be declared valid if the number of voters reaches one-third.
