Eka Azarashvili, spokesperson for the Central Election Commission, said at 4pm that the further election process was proceeding without any major incidents.
International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED) recorded 34 complaints with precinct election commissions and 11 complaints with the district election commission.
ISFED noted many serious violations at one of the precincts of Akhalkalaki in Samtskhe-Javakheti region where voters were casting ballot without their ID cards; precinct commission members were supporting the ruling party; registrars were themselves voting on ballot papers before giving them to voters.
Transparency International Georgia also recorded several harsh violations, including theft of voters’ list for portable ballot box and in one of the polling stations registrars at the precinct told people, who asked them whom to choose, to mark number “5”, the ruling party’s number.
Problems with voter marking in several polling stations were also registered by Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association.
