Georgian media reports that Regional Prosecutor’s Office of Western Georgia arrested two more suspects in brutal treatment of prisoners.
As reported the head of department at Kutaisi prison N2, Gaga Liparteliani and controller of the same prison, Mikheil Chkheidze, were arrested this morning.
We should note that at this stage of the investigation into the torture of inmates in Georgian prisons, 18 people have been arrested, including the deputy chief of the Department of Corrections, director of Gldani prison N8 and other officials and employees.
