Today President Serzh Sargsyan received the EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Štefan Füle.
The president greeted the guest and expressed his satisfaction on the dynamic development of Armenia-EU relations, which is revealed through the frequent visits of senior officials. Serzh Sargsyan expressed hope that EU commissioner’s visit will give new force to RA-EU cooperation.
EU commissioner agreed that frequent visits give opportunities for detailed observation of cooperation agenda. Mr Füle noted that he has arrived in our country with certain perception that Armenia is absolutely apt to Euro integration and now the scope of resources are to be investigated for passing from reforms to concrete actions ascertaining how European assembly can assist.
Both sides were satisfied with the association agreement signed in 2010 on creating a free market zone and on simplification of visa regime for RA citizens.
