“The early proposed projects on the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict have been rejected by the Armenian side. Then, no proposal was made in order to find a way out of this situation”, the deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Araz Azimov told journalists as APA reports.
According to Azimov “Azerbaijani approach is as follows – we had negotiations in 2004 and achieved relevant conception within these talks. There are issues which are clear. There are also relevant principles. It gives us opportunity to compile a concrete “road map” in order to solve practically the direct issues on the base of the above mentioned principles and this “road map” will be to the base for making relevant steps. But if we want to develop the main principles, then hold relevant discussions in order to transform these principles into real steps and then, to achieve the peaceful agreement as a result of negotiations, this process will go for 20 years. Azerbaijan has neither such time, nor such patience”.
