Six Azerbaijani citizens arrested in Georgia including three Georgian-Armenians, are already set free, the ambassador of RA to Georgia Hovhannes Manukyan reported to Panorama.am.
According to him these six people, 3 Armenians, 2 Georgians and 1 Azerbaijani were fishing in Jandar lake on September 23rd, but because of bad weather conditions they appeared in the Azerbaijani part of the lake, where they were taken under control of Azerbaijani corresponding service.
Hovhannes Manukyan informs that immediately the RA Embassy to Georgia connected with the corresponding Georgian agencies.
The ambassador noted that there were no complaints of violence during the supervision in Azerbaijan. There are no accusations on hunting-robbery as well.
Earlier the Azerbaijani mass media reported that six Georgian citizens were caught by Azerbaijani frontiers, part of them being Armenians.
According to preliminary information the names of the citizens crossing the border are Zurab Hihitashvili (1962), Nodar Gogiladze(1954), Valeri Zabiev (1976), Edward Arzumov (1943), Sergey Lehandyan (1948) and Misha Sargsyan (1948).
