The president of Armenian Christian Democratic Party, member of ARP fraction in National Assembly Khosrov Harutyunyan discussed the issue of RA president’s governmental consultation and the reaction that it caused in the interview with aravot.am.
The opposition reacted to the president’s sharp statements as a pre-electoral show. To this comment the politician replied that actually the target was the commercial process of our country, not the analysis of governmental activities. “As a result the obvious public blemishes came into surface – corruption, exploitation of credentials eroding our society during the last 20 years. Thus, the strict address was directed to these very drawbacks.”- said the member of ARP fraction.
“The uncontrolled state of our country’s trade and also serious problems of several other spheres were the main subjects of the consultation. Addressing by names, the president stresses the idea of team work. The moment is chosen for the sake of reaching domestic stability in the country taking into consideration the escalated tension in the region and the threat of the second stream of economic crisis.”- said Hovhannisyan.
To the deduction of the journalist, that it turns out that PM renouncement and other post changes are exaggerated, ARP representative answered: “The president’s words mark that the work of government is not sufficient urging to make the systematic changes stricter and larger. This is a very important challenge, which will lead to many legal changes. This is a positive tendency, but taking into consideration the existing problems, the president reinforces them even more for the sake of maximum integration in European family.” –said the party leader adding that he doesn’t exclude that this event will affect the electoral process, but he is sure that it wasn’t the aim.
Why this consultation wasn’t made close for public? To this inquiry the NA ARP representative answered : “Very often we accuse the authorities for non-transparent policy. This is done for the sake of creating healthy expectations. Then, the public welcomes direct inquiries. Even if it is done for electoral goals, it is done for our own interests.”-commented Hovhannisyan.
He said the further we will possibly witness noisy post changes. “There will be post changes of those officials responsible for the defects in economy, as every year the same problems are inspected in the spheres of transportation, health, construction, commerce. These drawbacks are also the guilt of the law system, which is not to let such rude violations. This was the whole essence of the consultation.”- concluded Khosrov Hovhannisyan.
