Vartan Oskanyan, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, and currently PAP MP, had an interview with “168 zham”.
“I don’t want to talk about the presidential elections, since nothing seriously has been discussed so far and all the announcements which you hear is just opinions and are groundless,” said Oskanian and added that he doesn’t want to comment on any other’s announcements concerning the elections. They especially talked about the questions concerning the press releases that his nomination was taken out of the PAP agenda.
He didn’t give clear answer to the question concerning his participation in presidential elections either.
Oskanian didn’t talk about his meeting with Kocharyan, and added that if Kocharyan doesn’t want to talk about his nomination, then he won’t talk either.
In the end, Oskanian said that he continues to meet Kocharyan whenever there is a possibility.
