Gurgen Eghiazaryan, ANC community council member, told “1in am news and analyses” that the issue for stopping the privileges of council members has not been discussed.
“If something does not exist. How can we discuss it?”, said Eghiazaryan and added “It is Ruben Torosyan’s initiative.”
Note, the member of ANC community council, Ruben Torosyan had noted on the first agenda of the party, that some initiatives were being organized to stop the privileges of the ANC community councils members. Accordingly, it is proposed to terminate 8 members of ANC community council, including Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Suren Abrahamyan, Ashot Adamyan, Masis Ayvazyan, Davit Araqelyan, Manuel Gasparyan, Vardan Grigoryan and Gurgen Eghiazaryan.
Gurgen Eghiazaryan noted that he doesn’t treat seriously the role of community member:
“Such institution does not exist in Armenia. If something does not exist. How do they stop it? In Autocrat countries, community council cannot exist. Only a person is saying what to do and how to do, and everybody are doing as it was told. This is the situation” he said.
Note, number of ANC community council members is 13. Ruben Rorosyan is also one of the members.
