“President Zurabishvili has lost his authority and has no right to speak on behalf of Georgia in Europe,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili announced.
This is his first comment after the scandal surrounding Zurabishvili’s European tour without the government’s consent. After Zurabishvili’s European visit, Irakli Kobakhidze, the leader of the ruling “Georgian Dream” faction of the Georgian Parliament, announced that the possibility of starting an impeachment process against the president is being considered.
