Serdar Kılıç, the special representative of Turkey in the process of regulating Armenia-Turkey relations, also published on Twitter the news of the cancellation of the broadcast of the “Ataturk” series by Disney Plus. This is reported by ermenihaber.am.
It should be noted that according to the news circulating in the Turkish media field since August 1, Disney Plus allegedly succumbed to the pressure of the Armenian lobby, which is why it will not broadcast the series “Ataturk” dedicated to the centennial of Turkey.
On August 2, the leader of the Turkish “Yerkir” (Memleket) party, Muharem Ince, the leader of the parliamentary faction of the “People’s Republic” Party (ZHAP-CHP) Ozgur Ozel, the leader of the “Good” (Iyi) party also made statements regarding the similar decision of Disney Plus—speaker Kyurshad Zorlu.
Earlier, there were news that Turkish Minister of State Hakan Fidan and the head of the National Intelligence Service, Ibrahim Kalin, are personally intervening in the issue.
