President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the Qatar Foundation and the Qatar Science and Technology Park as part of his working visit to the State of Qatar. The President of the Republic made a tour of the technopark, got acquainted with the main directions and areas of activity of the foundation and the technopark, and made a note in the book of the guests of honor of the foundation.
The Science and technology park is one of the critical structures of the Qatar Foundation. It is a world-renowned technology development center vital to developing Qatar’s innovation ecosystem.
The science and technology park was officially opened in 2009. by Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al Misnad on March 16. It was created as a center of excellence for technology companies worldwide and a platform for startups.
