The action took place in Tbilisi, in Avlabari residence of the President. The members first read, then submitted the ultimatum to the presidential administration.
The authors of the ultimatum think that Saakashvili violated the presidential oath. They accuse him in the usurpation of the state power and the monopoly, humiliation and deprivation of the judiciary’s independence, in the creation of the corrupt management, as well as violation of fundamental rights, etc.
Among the authors of the documents, there were also film director Rez Chkheidze, the leader of “Tetrebi” party Temur Shashiashvili, and many other public figures of Georgia.
