“Power change” problem entering the 2017-18 agenda

Reporter of “First News and Analyses” Mousa Mikaelyan writes an article on the fact that in Armenia’s internal political context of current developments, the problem of “change of power” in 2017-18 is gradually prompting to the first plan.

“The point is that it’s Serzh Sargsyan’s third term, and it is natural that he should at least de jure transfer the power to someone. There are many applicants, who represent the power of the old and new generations. Moreover, there are also divisions, groups and interests.”

The author notes that the model of parliamentary management seems to take out the problem of transmission of the president’s power. The country should have de facto government, and here is the issue of capital management, because in Armenia the power is reflected in the capital.
“Until the issue of capital distribution is resolved, the management model of will not solve anything.”

The author also finds significant that what flow of capital will be to the civil society both in the direction of development of the civic cells, and of the other layers of the public. “The minimum necessity is that the civic capital not to stay behind the processed recorded in the financial capital and to hold the ratio of all the recorded relations, not losing its position. But we should not exclude revolutionary movements of capital in Armenia, which mostly depends on geopolitical developments.”
