Representatives of International Dialogue for action to protect the environment (IDEA) informed that the Green Week project implemented as part of the IDEA campaign (International Dialogue for action to protect the environment) and UNEP (United Nations Environment Program) will be launched for the first time in Baku, on November 12-16.
As reported, along with local guests, the event will be attended by specially invited representatives of international governmental and non-governmental organizations, youth leaders and other guests from around the world.
According to the statement, the first day of the Green Week will be organized by the International Youth Forum. The forum will discuss the results of the RIO +20 summit held in June, 2012.
On November 14, environment diplomacy training will be organized at the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy.
More than 300 youth representatives will take part in the program planned in open lectures.
Green Week, organized by UNEP, will be held in Azerbaijan, for the first time in the Caucasus.
